Just heard about our Gordon, the thinking man’s plonker, and his announcements giving another hundreds of millions, repeat millions, to the bottomless pit which is Afghanistan. Then we heard the latest from the Police, whose pay deal of 2.5% was slashed to 1.9% by Home Secretary Slasher Smith.

 Seems like it’s a case of Billions for the Heroin Merchants, but not a ‘Bob’ for the Bobbies!
