£33,000.00 …………Bonus paid to Sue Sims Northumbria Acting Chief Constable

£22,178 …………..Bonus paid to Merseyside Police chief constable Bernard Hogan-Howe, who retired earlier this year

£17,515……………Bonus paid to former North Wales Police Chief Constable Richard Brunstrom

The Winsor Review calls for an end to the £1,212 competence-related threshold payment, the Special Priority Payment of up to £5,000 and says no officers should move up the pay scale for two years.

It also suggests suspending chief officer and superintendent bonuses.

If the bonuses paid to the likes of the three mentioned earlier are indeed cut, I believe that would demonstrate that the bacon-slicer works for the top as well as the middle and the bottom!
